Update on both cars

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything…we’ve been very busy, working on both cars; First the Camaro: We have come to the conclusion that the computer is outdated. I’ve bought a new MSD Digital 7 Programmable with a HVC coil that I need to install as soon as I get some time….Now for the Vega: We broke two transmissions before we figured out that we need a solid transmission mount to prevent the engine from moving backwards and breaking it. We took it out to SMP last weekend for the 6.40 index class and did pretty good. It ran best of 6.42 @ 106 mph. We took it out tonight to try our luck at bracket racing and she went 6.46 an a 6.47 dial-in. broke out and ran too fast!! Looks like this car will last a while. Now to try to get my wife to drive it! Stay tuned for more on the Camaro coming soon.
