Progress on the Camaro-Update 2
December 9, 2006 on 9:20 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsWell, we have installed the powerglide transmission and started cleaning up the body a little bit, trying to get her ready for paint. We have also decided to gut the rear deck lid and get rid of the factory 3-piece spoiler and replace it with a custom designed (by me)aluminum wing. This thing is bad ass! Can’t wait to get her finished and get some pictures up on the website. I’ll continue to keep everyone posted on our progress.

Progress on the Camaro-Update1
December 1, 2006 on 8:21 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsWe have received our new powerglide transmission and will begin the install very soon. We finished gutting the doors and installed the window kit and lexan. We received the new fiberglass hood and scoop, and I welded all the dzus fasteners on. I have almost finished fiberglassing the scoop to the hood, so it won’t be long before I’ll be able to paint it. I will also have to repaint the fenders where the welding of the dzus fasteners burnt the paint a little bit. I went ahead and bought a new aluminum radiator to replace the old stock copper one. This will also help a bit with our weight reduction plan. Maybe after Christmas, we will get that fiberglass front clip we’ve been wanting! I’ll continue to post updates as we work on it.
