Sweet Temptationz Spookfest Car Show

Next weekend 28 & 29 October, we will have our Camaro entered in the Spookfest Car Show at the Lawton Colliseum. We have painted the Camaro just for this event, so come check it out! We will be helping my great friends and sponsor from Crow’s Muffler run their booth, so come out and have a great time and come by the booth and see us!

FOLLOW-UP: We finished the paint job in time to get it to the car show, and ended up taking First Place in the Pro-Street catagory. Maybe now we can slow down a bit and get the car ready for next race season. Next on my list of things-to-do is replacing the three-speed Turbo transmission witha two-speed Powerglide transmission. Stay tuned for more news!

Tonight at Sooner Motorplex

We will have the Camaro back out at SMP tonight (6 October) and try to get it down the track without an oil leak. We have pulled the motor and replaced the rear main seal again. Hopefully, we have fixed the problem. Come on out and have a good time.

 UPDATE: 7/10/2006: We took the car out to SMP last night and got in a few passes, but on the third pass, we blew the transmission pump. I’m gonna pull the transmission over the winter months and have it freshened up for next season. We will still take it to the car shows coming up, but it will not be race ready again until next year. See everyone at the “Losin Time Cruzin” car show and “Spookfest”.
