Update on the Camaro

After tearing down the top end of the motor, we found that we didn’t blow a head gasket, but rather had a cracked cylinder head on the driver’s side of the engine. We have sent the cylinder head to Bill McCall for repair. In the meantime, we have procurred another set of heads that we will use as a back-up set. I am having Victor Penrod of Penrod Racing Services perform the machine work required as well as install new springs, valves, titanium retainers and locks on them. We are planning on purchasing a new set of Pro Dart aluminum heads later this year.
